Well, lets see. I haven't done much this past week. Just some spring cleaning, got my chicken house cleaned out, cleaned my room and I even got my car cleaned out. I did get me some more chickens. I got a very nice quad of Gray Game Fowl from a good friend and fellow breeder. They are some really nice birds, the young stag is about 5 months and the pullets are about 7-8 months old. I am planning on showing and breeding them later on, and I am hoping to have some young from these birds available next year.

I got an interesting gift today, very unexpected and quite interesting delivery method.....lol.
I have a little CLB Dutch Bantam Hen that is very social, and quite a sweetie. Well, on a routine basis I like to let her run loose in the chicken yard. Well, by doing this she dosen't have access to any nesting boxes. Earlier today I was walking to my chicken house and found this, in front on my chicken house door.
I thought is was rather funny, she managed to lay the egg right in the in front and right in the center of the step to my chicken house. Obviously, I need to give her a nest box to lay in while she is outside.
On other news, here are some random pictures I took today, just some flowers, chickens and goats.
These are the chicks from the first hatch in January. They are looking very nice!
This years baby goats, sure are growing!
